Farix Embedded is an independent consulting practice helping clients turn early-stage ideas into embedded products. Working independently, I move fast without the overhead of a firm. You get me and my network of specialist contractors bringing principal-level expertise to your project. I help clients make better decisions about their embedded products: what to build, how to build it, and how technical choices affect manufacturing, costs, timelines, and their overall business. I'm selective to ensure projects align with what I do best. That means you get someone fully committed to getting it right.
Embedded systems architecture and product strategy

I went independent after 15 years of full-time employment for the freedom to take on varied, challenging projects. My professional experience spans consumer products, industrial, medical devices, advanced R&D, and other fields.
I received my B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and completed my research-based master's thesis in the Machine Vision Laboratory under Professors R. James Duckworth and David Cyganski.
